SOS. I just had a baby and I don’t know what to do….

This week in clinic we are seeing a lot of women in their early postpartum days.  And A LOT of the women are saying “I HAD no idea what to do to support my core & pelvic floor postpartum”.

Alternatively, they say things like “I know how to start to exercise when I feel ready or how to close my diastasis recti, but I have no clue how to start my rehab immediately postpartum”.

We are here to help!

To help you out, this week’s post is all about some tips and tricks to navigate those early postpartum days.

Depending on your birth, many women don’t see a healthcare provider for themselves until the 6-week mark. This is usually for their postpartum check up. That’s 42 days (or more)! As a result, women are potentially scared, nervous or have confusion about how to navigate the immediate postpartum period. They have questions about things like vaginal tearing, perineal swelling, urinary/fecal incontinence, vaginal heaviness or  C-section recovery.

So, to help you out we created five tips to help after you’ve just had a baby. They are simple and easy to implement and really quite effective.

Please enjoy!

Hopefully, after watching this, you now are NOT thinking “I’ve just had a baby and don’t know what to do”! And as always if you have any other questions, please let us know.
