Tailbone pain can be very bothersome during pregnancy and after delivery. We are here to help you out! Try this one exercise for tailbone pain.

We know that tailbone pain can make it difficult to sit, take car rides, work, walk, climb stairs, go the bathroom – the list goes on. And while many women get instant relief from tailbone pain after pregnancy, some injure their tailbone during delivery. Tailbone pain can be very distressing. This exercise is one that we give to almost all of our tailbone pain patients. As always – check with your obstetrical care provider, or doctor to be sure that this exercise is right for you!

We hope that this exercise offers you some relief. Sometimes we will teach the same maneuver when our patients are in sitting. Doing a bit of a tailbone lift before standing up, can help reduce the pain that some people feel as they stand.
